Discipline and Guidance

Creator's Way does not engage in any form of corporal punishment for behavioral choices. Children are instructed in wise choice behaviors which are reinforced throughout our day.

Our Preschoolers use Green/Red choices to guide their choices and build trust among the members of our learning community.

​A “calming center” is available for students that may be having a particularly rough day, where they can reflect on their choices, have a few moments of privacy to re-regulate themselves, or simply rest a bit.​​

​Self-soothing and re-regulating are skills developed over time.
